Young Married Small Group

Marriage is a gift from God, and we want you to discover God’s great plan for your marriage. We will meet on Wednesdays, in Room 103, at 7pm. We will focus on God’s design for couples and families, discuss the most recent Sunday sermon, as well as learn with other like-minded couples on this same journey. This group is for married couples ages under 35.

Having a strong community to stay connected with and turn to in hard times can be one of the most refreshing and life changing parts of our lives. Calvary Young Adults currently has several different groups where you can connect with new people, and create life-long friendships, while growing in your faith. Give one of these groups a try! You never know who you might meet.

Saturdays at 12:30pm

Mike – I have been attending Calvary for three years and am newly married! I work the night shift at Chrysler, so I am an avid coffee drinker. When I am not working, you can find me cooking, fishing, camping, shooting pool, or being outside.

Alec – I’m an adventurous guy that loves to be on the water or in the woods hiking. I also enjoy biking, kayaking, or walking my dog. I always enjoy growing spiritually with others.

We like to stay up late, play games, and eat pizza. We have our own small business and enjoy seeing new places together. As a blended family, we know the value of fostering a caring and intentional small group community.

Danielle Thieman & David Thigpen

Danielle – I am currently a master’s student at the University of Toledo, hoping to be a teacher soon. I love board games, metro parks, animals, science, and, most of all, God. I also really enjoy meeting new people and learning new things.

David – I love studying the Bible and believe that a better understanding of God’s word is key to being more effective in living the lives God has called us to. I also enjoy retro video games, learning random facts about the world, and recently started learning to paint miniature figurines.
