Amazing volunteers make church happen every week at Calvary! From working with kids, to greeting at the front door, to helping with a worship experience, there are many different ways to serve at Calvary. Check out our Calvary Teams and see where you fit!
FIRST IMPRESSIONS
Help welcome the community to Calvary and prepare their hearts for worship! These teams work hard to create a welcoming atmosphere in our parking lot, lobbies, and auditoriums. If you love people and want to make sure every person feels at home, join the First Impressions team!
Greeters & Parking Lot Ministry Team
A first impression starts in the parking lot and carries into the building. Be the first warm smile people see when they come onto our campus!
Cafe
Love a good cup of coffee!?! So do many of the people that walk through our doors. Join us as we brew coffee, whip up lattes, and serve donuts with a smile!
New Here
Be the first connection a visitor has by helping to welcome new people to the church, by answering questions, and showing them the steps to take to get plugged in.
CALVARY KIDS
Join Calvary’s fastest growing ministry! From the moment a child is dropped off to the moment they are picked up, our volunteers keep children safe in fun and engaging services and activities.
Kids Church First Impression
Help families feel welcome and secure while they check-in, find their classrooms, and enjoy their time at church.
Kids Church Leader
Calvary Kids leaders encourage children of all ages to learn God’s Word and live it out in their everyday lives through a growing faith in Jesus Christ. Through skits, worship, games, crafts and more, we enhance Bible lessons by making it fun and easy to understand!
Nursery/Preschool Classroom
Help take care of our littlest Calvary Kids. Team members reinforce the lesson in small groups through story time, crafts, and games. They also monitor and engage with the children during free play time and snack.
Special Needs Classroom
We believe each and every individual is fearfully and wonderfully made. We desire to share the gospel with every child and support families so that they can participate in worship on Sundays.
CALVARY STUDENT MINISTRIES
Calvary Student Ministries’ (CSM) teaches God’s Word to 6th-12th grade students in a relatable and practical way. Help fulfill that purpose by UNITING students together, EMPOWERING them with the truth of God’s Word, and LAUNCHING them in to their lives to love and serve others!
CSM Leaders
CSM leaders work with the staff, run activities, and engage 6-12th grade students through hanging out, mentorship, and prayer. Leaders serve both on Sundays and Thursdays and will focus on Middle School or High School students.
CSM Events & Retreats
If you have a heart for youth but your schedule doesn’t allow consistent serving, CSM events and retreats are a great way to get involved. Opportunities in this area range from assisting with event check-in, serving and cooking meals, and chaperoning local and overnight events and retreats.
CALVARY CREATIVE
Calvary Creative exists to create moments where people can experience God in a powerful way through music and technology. Our goal is to create an atmosphere where people can engage with God and prepare their hearts for God’s Word.
Tech Team
Using technology, we can help to create moments where people experience God in a new way. No matter your skill level, there is a place to serve by learning to work with sound, cameras, or screens.
Worship Team
Team members serve to lead the congregation in to the presence of God through music. We maintain a lifestyle of a worshipper, surrendered to Christ, and are committed to bringing excellence to the worship experience. Three years experience and musical knowledge is required.
Calvary Care Team
Bringing Christ’s compassion to those in our church who are struggling with life’s challenges by providing love and support through relationship, word’s of encouragement, and prayer.
Visitation Ministry
Team members take time each month to visit and minister to shut-ins and long-term care patients.
First Responders
Team members with qualifying skills make themselves available during the weekend church service they are attending and must be able to handle medical emergencies and be CPR certified.
Prayer Ministry Team
Prayer is a powerful way to help bring life change to an individual. Each Sunday, the Prayer Ministry Team takes time after services to pray for those who are looking for guidance, healing and encouragement.
Calvary Young Adults
CYA wants every young adult to have a genuine encounter with Jesus and grow in their faith alongside others. We believe this happens through authentic connections and experiencing God in everything we do – whether it be a small group, social event, or serving together. We strive to find community for everyone between the ages 18-35, so whether you are fresh out of high school, single and working, or married with kids, we have a place for you!
Leader
Leaders assist a growing young adult ministry by leading small groups, helping existing groups, and dreaming up new ways to reach this critical age group.
