WOMEN WITH A PURPOSE Reaching out in love, lifting up with hope, and equipping with truth The mission of Women's Ministries is to reach women, to disciple them and to help bring wholeness and balance to their lives. By providing an atmosphere for women to strengthen their gifts and by training them to find their places of ministry, women can successfully touch their world for Christ. Throughout the calendar year opportunities are provided for women to grow in faith through the study of God's word and prayer, grow in relationship through fellowship with other godly women, and grow in service by using the gifts and talents God has given to serve our family, church, and community. |

>Events Bible Studies Meets Weekly - Mondays and Thursdays Women in the Word has begun a new LIFE LESSONS Bible study by Max Lucado on the books of 1 and 2 Timothy on Mondays at 7 pm and Thursdays at 9:30 am in Room 120. Tuesday Women’s Bible Studies will begin January 13, 2009 with Beth Moore’s “ESTHER: It’s Tough Being a Woman”, a 10-week study, begins Tuesday, January 13th. Morning study will meet from 10-11:30 am and evening study from 7-8:30 pm. The morning study will provide childcare for a fee. Please register at the Information Center. Join Beth Moore in an in-depth and very personal examination of this great story of threat and deliverance. If you’ve ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the study for you. Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther’s day, it’s tough today. Beth peels back the layers of history and shows how very contemporary and applicable the story of Esther is to us. This portion of God’s Word contains treasures to aid us in our hurried, harried, and pressured lives.  Newborns In Need Meets Monthly - Second Saturday of Each Month Newborns In Need meets on the second Saturday morning of the month in Calvary's Gym from 10 am-3 pm. This national charity crafts baby items to be distributed locally. You do not need to know how to knit, crochet, or sew to attend; a volunteer will be available to teach easy methods for completing each item. If you have questions, please contact the Church Office.
