Pastor Chad & Rhonda Gilligan, Lead Pastor

On June 13, 2004, the membership of Calvary Assembly of God overwhelmingly elected Chad Gilligan to serve as pastor. Pastor Chad is a gifted preacher and teacher. His passion and enthusiasm are evident in his ability to creatively communicate God's Word.

Prior to his becoming Lead Pastor, he served as Calvary's Children's Pastor for six years under Doug Clay (Ohio District Superintendent). During his tenure he provided effective and enthusiastic leadership to the ministries involving children from birth through sixth grade.

A graduate of Central Bible College, Pastor Chad served as Minister of Family Life at Evangel Assembly of God in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, prior to coming to Calvary.

Pastor Chad enjoys spending time with his wife Rhonda and their three children, Clayton, Carissa and Evan.

Pastor Bill & Janie McGinnis, Executive Pastor

Pastor Bill McGinnis' ministry consists of giving leadership to Adult Discipleship  (Sunday School and CARE Groups) and to the Adult Ministries of Calvary.  He is committed to assisting the Christian adult in their spiritual growth and personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  In his teaching and preaching and his association with the body of Christ, he conveys this commitment with passion and determination.
 
Prior to serving as Associate Pastor, Pastor Bill served as the Youth Pastor at Calvary for thirteen years.  Under his leadership, the youth ministry experience great growth in discipleship, missions, and leadership development. 
 
Pastor Bill is a graduate of Evangel University where he met his wife, Janie.  They have two daughters, Rachel and Athisi.

Pastor Sue & Gary Bucher, Pastoral Counseling

Pastor Sue Bucher has been serving as a Pastoral Counselor at Calvary Assembly of God since January of 1995, after having graduated from Emerge Ministries Institute for Pastoral Counseling in Akron, Ohio.  She has been a registered nurse since 1981 and was credentialed as a certified minister with the Assemblies of God in 1999.  She has been involved in a variety of ministries at Calvary for the last twenty-five years and currently directs the Counseling Ministry, Nursing Ministry, Altar Ministry and Women's Mentoring Ministry.

Pastor Sue's heartfelt passion is to teach and counsel with the pure Word of God under the anointing and direction of God's Holy Spirit.  She is dedicated to studying God's Word and helping others learn how to apply it to their lives.  Her counseling style is unique, in that she evangelizes the lost, disciples the believer, and assists the counseled to develop a consistent pattern of prayer, Bible study, and worship in their personal lives as a means to helping them find victory over their circumstances.  Sue sees God's Holy Spirit and His precious Word as the ultimate source of counsel in a person's life.

Pastor Sue and her husband Gary were married in 1979 and have four adult children.

Pastor Greg and Shaylyn Ford, Pastor of Student Ministries

Pastor Greg serves as the Pastor of Student Ministries here at Calvary. He provides leadership and vision to Crossfire (Senior High), Fuel (Junior High), and Corum Deo (College/Career). Pastor Greg is a passionate person who deeply loves God, people, and life. He’s willing to do whatever it takes to advance the kingdom of God.

Prior to joining the Calvary team, Pastor Greg and his wife Shaylyn led a variety of ministries including Chi Alpha, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and most recently, Student Ministries in Wooster, OH.

Pastor Greg graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University with a B.S. in Church Ministries.

Pastor Keith and Maren Kurtz, Pastor of Children's Ministries

Pastor Keith and Maren Kurtz joined the staff at Calvary Assembly of God in February, 2007.   They were married in June, 1996 and are blessed to be parents of four children: Kaitlin, Zachary, Lauren, and Breanne.

Before becoming the Children’s Pastor at Calvary, Keith and Maren were active members of Calvary for 10 years.  Keith realized his calling to minister while on a missions trip to India.  He attended classes at Ohio School of Ministry to become a certified and licensed pastor.

Pastor Keith is very passionate about children’s ministry.  His desire is to teach kids that Jesus loves them and disciple them in their walk with the Lord.  Pastor Keith’s goal is develop leadership in Calvary’s kids and build a new generation of disciples.
